Info
This collection of hand-built ceramic vessels is inspired by natural textures and formations shaped slowly over time. The rugged surfaces and irregular contours retain traces of the handmade process, giving each piece a distinct organic presence.Layered blue and grey glazes were applied to create surfaces reminiscent of weathered stone, eroded landscapes, and mineral textures shaped by water and time. Subtle touches of gold were added across selected areas, introducing warm reflections that contrast gently with the raw, earthy surface. The variations in texture and colour shift with changing light and perspective, allowing each vessel to reveal different depths and details. While sculptural in appearance, the forms still retain a quiet sense of functionality and simplicity.Balancing raw materiality with luminous surface details, the work evokes a feeling of stillness, permanence, and connection to natural processes shaped gradually through time.
