Info
A fabricated steel sculpture composed of two circular steel forms treated through different processes before being joined together. One steel circle was manually bent to alter its original flat geometry, while the second was lightly cut using a plasma cutter to create a subtle fractured line across the surface. The two elements were then welded together onto a vertical steel support, creating tension between solidity and separation. Visible welding marks, oxidation, heat discolouration, and raw industrial textures remain exposed, allowing the process of fabrication to become part of the sculpture itself. The work explores how small interventions in form and structure can transform balance, movement, and spatial perception.
