This work draws from the words of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ — “Be gentle with the delicate vessels.” Traditionally understood as a reminder to treat women with tenderness, the phrase becomes here a meditation on fragility itself: the unseen fractures carried by people, memory, language, and spirit.Forged in steel yet marked by rupture, the work holds a tension between strength and vulnerability. The sharp edges, fractured contours, and scorched patina evoke both resilience and damage — a vessel hardened by fire, but never untouched by it.
