TIDAL GROWTH

Hand-built ceramic sculpture created using recycled clay and finished with layered blue glazes and black slip. Fired in an electric kiln, the piece features flowing surface textures, tonal variations, and organic movement throughout the form.Inspired by the graceful movement of coastal birdlife and flowing water, Tidal Growth captures a moment of quiet motion. Sweeping curves and open spaces create a sense of lightness and rhythm, while layered blue tones evoke the shifting colours of sea and sky. The form balances elegance and strength, inviting contemplation of movement, freedom, and the natural world.
