Tectonic Bloom

The folded sculptural form of Tectonic Bloom carries a sense of movement and transformation, balancing raw materiality with a quiet expressive presence. The flowing structure rises and bends organically, creating a tension between solidity and fluidity, as though the form is caught within a moment of gradual change.Through the raku firing process, the surface developed layered textures, smoky markings, and subtle tonal shifts that enhance the tactile and emotional presence of the work. The combination of extrusion, hand manipulation, glaze, and fire allows the piece to exist between control and spontaneity, where process becomes an essential part of the final form.
